Way back at the start of the '90s I went to loads of gigs and wrote fanzines. These were done pre-desktop publishing, hammered out on a portable typewriter and glued together before being stealthily photocopied at work. A few years ago, I had the idea of making a short story in the form of a fanzine. I made it using all the same techniques. I even used the same portable typewriter. Jesus, typing on that thing is hard. Thank god for modern keyboards. This time I paid for it to be photocopied as cheaply as possible, and gave copies away at an ATP, although I don't recall exactly which one.
